Ameca : The Next Face of Humanoid Robots

A humanoid robot named as Ameca is unveiled by Engineered arts, a leading manufacturer and designer of humanoid robots. Ameca is most advanced humanoid robot and is designed as platform for artificial intelligence and human robot interaction. Ameca is designed specifically as a platform for development into future robotics technology. The firm is focusing on more innovative technologies that will be reliable modular and easily upgradable. The first generation of Ameca is built using the most advance technologies which are currently available.

Ameca has great number of technological features including recognizing facial expressions; it is equipped with sensors that can track movement in entire room. Face recognition detects at approximate 2 meters. Ameca can also recognize multiple voices. It is integrated with advance binocular eye mounted cameras, binaural ear mounted microphones, and high resolution chest mounted cameras and built in dedicated hardware for machine learning applications.
